In 2002, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Division of Reproductive Health (CDC DRH) began funding a national project, Promoting Science-Based Approaches (PSBA) to promote science-based approaches in teen pregnancy, HIV, and STI prevention. The seven science-based approaches are examined in detail in this FAQ resource.
