At Healthy Teen Network, we believe young people deserve access to information that is accurate, inclusive, relevant, and engaging. Young people are constantly learning about their bodies, relationships, sexuality, and identities—and they deserve resources that meet their questions with honesty rather than shame, stigma, or misinformation.
That belief is at the heart of the Healthy Teen Network Visionary Award, which recognizes individuals and organizations whose innovative work is helping shape a more equitable future for young people and the sexual and reproductive health field.
At #HealthyTeen26: Made to Belong, we’re honored to present the 2026 Visionary Award to Amaze for its groundbreaking work making comprehensive sex education accessible to young people everywhere.
Making Sex Education Accessible
What started as a project to fill the gap in sex education materials for young people ages 10–14 has grown into a global resource, with more than 320 original videos and over 2,000 international adaptations available in 70+ languages and dialects, reaching hundreds of millions of views around the globe.
From the beginning, Amaze has approached sex education through a lens of intersectionality, inclusion, and honest medical accuracy. Its videos feature LGBTQ+ characters, diverse casts, and direct, age-appropriate answers—without euphemisms or misinformation. Its library tackles topics young people are navigating, including abortion, pornography, gender identity, pronouns, chest binders, health disparities, faith and culture, masturbation, pleasure, and much more.
If young people are searching for it, Amaze works to have a video for it.
A Vision That Meets Young People Where They Are
Amaze’s impact extends far beyond its online audience. Its videos are shown in healthcare waiting rooms around the globe, and doctors in the U.S. can even “write prescriptions” for young people to watch them. And Amaze continues to evolve.
As conversations around screen time change, the organization is expanding beyond video with card games, comic books, and other non-digital resources—creating additional ways for young people to access and engage with comprehensive sex education.

Creating a More Inclusive Future
Amaze has been recognized for creating content that ensures what young people learn, experience, and discover about sexuality is relevant, timely, and inspiring; anticipates the needs of young people as their lives change; and cultivates equity, reduces health disparities, and remains inclusive and affirming.
When young people can find accurate information that reflects their identities and experiences, they are reminded that their questions are valid, their experiences matter, and they deserve access to information that supports their health and well-being.
