Christy centers herself and her work in joy, pleasure, rest, and creativity to merge with social and health outcomes that support adolescent well-being and reproductive health and justice. An experienced public health practitioner, she brings over a decade of expertise in sexual and reproductive health and justice, adolescent well-being, and health equity. She blends research, policy, creativity, and a deep commitment to community to design and deliver innovative programs that elevate and center youth voices and lived experiences. As the Project Manager for the In/Tend Innovation Hub, she handles the day-to-day magic while providing admin support, sharing a good GIF or TikTok reference for a good laugh, and bringing hot girl energy to every room (but as a balanced ambivert).
Christy holds a Master of Public Health from the University of South Florida and has led work in STI and HIV prevention, sexual health education, capacity building, and resource development across national, state, and community levels. She’s known as the condom plug in her local community! She is passionate about exploring how systems, culture, and policy intersect to shape health outcomes—and how joy and pleasure can be part of the solution.
When she’s not managing projects or facilitating a sexual health training, you’ll find her strength training or taking a Pilates class at 5 AM, frolicking at her local coffee shop, taking film photos on her vintage Canon film camera, or taking a spontaneous solo trip (she’s probably on a plane right now). She shares her Florida home office with her senior Yorkie Poodle, Cairo, who is a frequent guest star in her Zoom meetings.
See what she’s been thinking about.
See what she’s been up to.
