As someone who has always embraced creativity, empathy, and imagination alongside logic and critical thinking, Laura loves that being a Design Researcher lets her flex both sides of her brain. The fact that she also gets to coach others to use human-centered design to improve young people’s health? It doesn’t get much more rewarding than that.
When she’s not at the computer, Laura can be found taking advantage of San Diego’s weather. She’s likely watching her kids playing soccer, walking Navi—her adorable if poorly-trained husky-poodle-malamute-chihuahua mix—or working in the yard while listening to an audiobook.
See what she’s been thinking about.
You work hard to meet the needs of young people. We’re here to support and inspire you to do your best work every day.
