Healthy Teen Network has presented awards for decades as part of our mission to uplift bold, innovative, and inclusive leadership in the field of adolescent health. These awards are more than recognition—they’re a celebration of people and organizations who inspire us all to think bigger, do better, and build a world where every young person can be who they are and love who they love.
The awards ceremony is always one of the most energizing moments of the conference and we can’t wait for you to meet this year’s awardees. Learn more about our awards and previous awardees

Visionary Awardee: Natasha Ramsey, MD, MPH, FAAP (she/her)
The Healthy Teen Network Visionary Award honors forward-thinking, insightful, and proactive individuals or organizations committed to innovative approaches in adolescent sexual and reproductive health education and care.
Visionaries dream of the endless possibilities in education, health care, technology, and policy, ensuring that what young people learn, experience, and discover about sexuality is relevant, timely, and inspiring.
Anticipating the needs of the ever-changing lives of young people and creating holistic solutions with young people that cultivate equity, reduce health disparities, and are inclusive and affirming are at the core of the Healthy Teen Network Visionary Award.
We are thrilled to announce Natasha Ramsey, MD, MPH, FAAP, as the 2025 Visionary Awardee.
Dr. Natasha “Tasha” Ramsey is a pediatrician, adolescent medicine specialist, health educator, illustrator, and content creator who is reshaping what inclusive sexual and reproductive health education can be.
Her passion for advocacy started as a teen when she contributed to Sex Etc., a national sexual health magazine. Lived experiences as a Black teen navigating under-resourced systems inspired her to pursue medicine and public health, leading to her MD and MPH from NYU, pediatric training at Mount Sinai, and fellowship training in adolescent medicine at Children’s National and Columbia.
Dr. Tasha founded Gorjus Sex Ed, a youth-centered initiative that blends education, art, and advocacy. From creating vibrant infographics on periods and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) to championing global menstrual equity, her work is unapologetically inclusive and culturally competent. She collaborates with schools, organizations, and health professionals worldwide to reimagine how young people access sexual and reproductive health education.
Whether in the clinic, online, or in the classroom, Dr. Tasha leads with creativity, compassion, and a commitment to justice.
