JB began his career in adolescent sexual and reproductive health by facilitating a queer sex ed presentation for his high school peers. If a resource doesn’t exist, he’ll find a way to make it!
As a former Thrivology Youth Leader, JB got the inside scoop on youth engagement before transitioning to their new role as a Research Assistant. As an academic and artist at heart, he is always finding new ways to make empirical evidence look cute. JB’s commitments to racial justice and re-Indigenization form the basis of all the work they do.
JB loves to learn, so they’re always listening to a podcast, reading, or watching a YouTube video essay. You can often find him taking a dance class, working on a short film, or participating in local activism. Otherwise, they’re probably doing crossword puzzles.
See what he’s been up to.
