In/Tend is a vibrant ecosystem of dreamers, doers, and change-makers who push the boundaries of imagination in adolescent health.

& Liberatory Design

We’re on a mission to enhance the sexual and reproductive health of all young people. To do this, we’re cultivating teams who’ll use participatory research and design to sow and scatter the seeds of innovative, equity-focused solutions to real-world challenges.

We believe in uplifting doers, dreamers, and change-makers with diverse backgrounds and wide-ranging lived experiences—particularly those prepared to get their hands dirty, try new things, and adapt to evolving conditions on the ground.

Ready to roll up your sleeves? Check out the Choose Your Own Adventure application for our Incubator Hub which starts accepting submissions on July 10.

Make sure you're on our email list to be the first to hear the latest from In/Tend.

It’s time to get your hands dirty with human-centered design!

Are you passionate about making positive change in adolescent sexual and reproductive health? Interested in digging deep into the world of human-centered design to address real-world challenges? If this sounds like something you’d like to do, then we have an opportunity for you!

Human-centered design is a creative problem-solving approach that starts by understanding the needs and experiences of the people you're designing for, resulting in solutions truly tailored to their needs and preferences. If you have a big challenge you want to solve in this field, join us for an immersive 7-month journey at the In/Tend Incubator Hub, where dreamers, doers, and changemakers come together to make a difference.

We're seeking 6 teams, each with 3 individuals to join the first of 4 cohorts who are ready to embark on an experience that changes how you look at and think about adolescent health. Participants will engage in a hands-on, human-centered design journey, guided by expert coaches with experience in health, innovation, and equity. Through this supportive process, you and your team will create an innovative solution with the potential to advance health equity and enhance the well-being of adolescents.

If you're eager to learn, collaborate, and make a lasting impact, In/Tend is the place for you!

Limited spots available—apply as soon as possible (starting July 10!) and let your creativity flourish!

Read more about the application process, look through all the application questions, and sign up to attend office hours where you can learn more about the application process and what to expect in the program.
